Hon’ble Mr. Justice K. Somashekar

Hon’ble Mr. Justice K. Somashekar was born on September 15, 1963. His Lordship enrolled as an advocate on January 27, 1990 and practiced in Mysore and Chamarajanagar Districts on both Civil and Criminal sides. His Lordship was directly appointed as District and Sessions Judge on June 17, 1998 and served as Additional Districts and Sessions Judge at Bijapur(Vijayapura) and City Civil Court, Bengaluru and as Principal District and Sessions Judge at Uttara Kannada, Karwar District; Hassan, Bangalore Rural District, Chitradurga. His Lordship also served as the Principal City Civil and Sessions Judge, Bengaluru and also served as Registrar Judicial and Registrar Vigilance at High Court of Karnataka. His Lordship was appointed as an Additional Judge of the High Court of Karnataka on November 14, 2016 and was appointed as the Permanent Judge of the High Court of Karnataka on November 03, 2018.
